Visibility & Sharing

Every annotation has a visibility setting that controls who can see it. You choose it in the composer when you add or edit an annotation.

The visibility levels

  • Just me — a private note, visible only to you. Use it for working notes or reminders.

    [Beta] Head judges and your EP will be able to view "Just me" notes for oversight.

  • Judges & EP — visible to all other annotation judges on the event and the EP.

  • Judges, EPs & Coaches — the above, plus the routine's coaches.

    [Note] Coaches and programs do not currently have access to Cheercast Rewind, please use "Anyone with the link" for sharing with programs and coaches.

  • Anyone with the link — generates a shareable link (see below). Use this to send an annotation to someone outside the platform.

When you set an annotation to Anyone with the link and save, a link appears in the composer. There are two kinds:

  • Timeline view — opens the full routine timeline, focused on this annotation.
  • Single annotation — shows just this one annotation on its own.

Click the copy button next to the link you want, then paste it wherever you need to share it.

Tip: The comment and drawing stay visible in the composer after you save a public annotation, alongside the link — so you can confirm everything's there before you copy. We highly recommend triple checking your annotation positioning and all formatting and text before sharing publicly.
