Cheercast Rewind Overview
Cheercast Rewind is the judging platform for reviewing routines and leaving annotations — time-stamped notes and on-screen drawings tied to a moment in a routine.
This guide is for judges. It walks through everything you'll do in Rewind, broken into short articles linked at the bottom.
Accessing your event
- Sign in at rewind.cheercast.com.au.
- Find your event's judging page in either place:
- Your Events page in your account, or
- The link shared in your event's communications channel (this varies by event — some use Slack, some Teams, etc. Your EP will let you know which).
- You'll see the routines for that event as they're uploaded.
The judging page at a glance
- Routine list — every routine for the event. Each row has:
- Watch — opens the routine in a quick pop-up player. (Available to all judges.)
- Annotate — opens the full annotation page. (Only for judges with annotation access — see the note below.)
- Recent uploads — the latest routines to come in, so you can jump straight to new ones.
- Live stream (when running) — the event's live feed.
- Connection status (top corner) — shows whether you're working Onsite or Remote.
Who can annotate? Annotation access is granted per event, so not every judge will see the Annotate buttons — that's normal. If you can see Watch but not Annotate and you believe you should have annotation access, get in touch through your event's communications channel. We'll confirm with your head judge and set you up.
